General Guidelines and Suggestions for Proposals

General guidelines & ideas for proposals

We’ll leave it up to you to come up with the best way to entice 300 Elite Yelpers to rave about what you do, but here are some thoughts that can help your restaurant, business, academic department or shop showcase your best and earn a space that night:

  • Offer a contribution of money, goods or services to the East End House
  • Provide tastes from your menu for 400 people + related services
  • Orchestrate a fun and interactive booth for the event
  • Provide items for raffles throughout the night
  • Contribute an item of value for Microsoft’s take-home Swag Bag
  • Provide a discount or other special offer for Passport Week

Vendor Requirements

By submitting a proposal, each vendor agrees to do the following, if selected to participate:
  1. sign an agreement, committing to deliver on the items in their proposal
  2. attend a vendor tour at the event location within one of week of selection notification
  3. attend a vendor rehearsal approximately one week prior to the event once exact vendor spaces are confirmed
  4. provide Clearly Creative with an .EPS file of the vendor logo within one week of selection notification

Call for proposals

You must be a friend or member of the Kendall Square Association to participate (sign up now at no cost!). All KSA members are invited to submit a proposal to participate in Passport to Kendall Square to effectively use an approximately 10' x 10' or 20' x 20' space on one of Microsoft’s three floors reserved for this event. Proposals should be submitted as a 1-page MS Word attachment and will be evaluated based on the value they provide to the Yelp members attending the event. Proposals will be accepted in two rounds:

Please send proposals and any questions to: p2ks@clearlycreative.net
